Firsts

K.. haven't been bloggin since my Big Day. Ha.. For the benefits of those who didn't know, I have officially been posted back to SAF Bands as of 28th Mar 2005. Hooray~!! =)

As of now, I'm officially a bandsman from SAF Band B!! Real glad the storm's finally blown over after 4 grueling months. It's about time! Right now, I couldn't be any happier. =D

These few days had been quite rather tiring ever since my posting back to Bands, due to my participation in the OCS Commissioning Parade, which is considered one of the major parades. My schedule's been packed daily with rehearsals after rehearsals since the 2nd day I got back (K.. I slacked for day 1. But dat's becos my Band left for parade rehearsals le. And I went running with Hans and wat's-his-name? around the camp lor..) For the records, it's my very first parade ('virgin parade', as wat a senior said) and I must say, I did feel a li' nervous initially before the actual parade commence. But once the drum major's mace shot up into the air, everything else went like clockwork. The hours spent on parade rehearsals didn't go to waste and all the anxiety was forgotten. Though I can't say there wasn't a single glitch, but I sure hope I didn't do too badly for a first-timer.. =p And that's with my sincerest thanks to people who have helped me out along the way by guiding me, people like Tianyou, Hanrong, Jeffrey, Hannasfi etc.. A big thank you to you guys! :)

Quite tired now.. will have to sign off here. *Yawns, rub eyes*
