Post CNY Shopping

Hmm... my wallet's bleeding right now as I speak. It has just suffered a brutal attack of being ripped off a bulk of its existence. Was out on deployment at Suntec City last week and had time to do some post CNY shopping, dat's where I chanced upon shops after shops in Marina having Removal Sale... Seems like they're revamping the whole place or sth. Everywhere having signs of 70% off etc.. temptation dat's so hard to resist... Bought a total of 2 tops and 1 bottom from G2000 for abt $75. Thought it's quite a bargain. Ha.. But still, I'll have to tighten my belt for the rest of this month le. Speaking of which, I bought one belt with a reversible buckle at U2 (which means to say the belt can take on 2 looks).. and saved quite a lot becos Jinsen had a discount voucher. =P

Went for a show at PS with Jinsen thereafter. It's a Sunday for goodness sake, and I really wanted to have some form of entertainment before the next mundanely boring week starts. And to think dat I burnt the whole weekend becos of deployments really sux. But still, you'll win some, you'll lose some. More free time equates to weekend being burnt.

Watched Constantine. Hmm... powerful CGIs... Well, it's from the producers dat brought us Matrix rite? Why am I not surprised. It's quite a nice show nonetheless, action packed till the last moment.. But I thot the story's way to fast paced, to the extent dat some scenes lasted for probably 1-2 secs and you'll miss it if you batted an eyelid, or worse, looked down for a moment to open a pack of potato chips like the way I did.. sheese.. Thanks to Daryl whom managed to piece together the whole show without missing any bits, I finally understood the big picture... and realised dat I missed the follow-on after the credits. Double sheese.
